Since I didn’t post much last year, I had share one of my favorite looks from last year. When I was a little girl, Easter was a big deal. I would get a dress and go to the beauty shop to get my hair done the Saturday before Easter with the anticipation of dressing up for church on Easter Sunday. Now, that I’m an adult, going all out for Easter is not a big deal.
Last year, I really wanted to put a little more effort in my Easter ensemble. I wanted simple and “springy”. I also wanted to wear some shade of white and I found this simple yet cute ivory dress from Amazon.
I wore an ivory belt with crystals on it that I got years ago from Charming Charlies and glitter sandals from Rainbow. I loved the simplicity and how serene I felt wearing this outfit.
I’m excited about sharing more fashion post with you!
Hello everyone! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything. I’ve been busy with a double course load in my PhD program and transitioning to a new position at work. All in all, I’m trying to balance my life and stay fly doing it.
I want to share my outfit. I ordered this batwing top from Amazon last year and I didn’t like because it didn’t look like the picture and the material reminded me of shiny costume fabric. Honestly, I’m not trying to look like a superhero. I tried to return it, but it’s expensive to return items to China.
I started wearing this top this spring. I’m glad I kept it. I love how it flows and I can dress it up or dress it down. For this look, I wore a printed skirt (Rainbowshop.com) and some chunky heeled sandals (Just Fab). My handbag is from amazon.
Thanks for reading! XOXO Brandi
Happy Sunday, beautiful people!
I haven’t done a style post with my sister in a while. I wanted to share our looks from last Sunday. The fun thing about Sundays is that I can dress up a little more than when I have to go to work. Actually, I would totally wear my outfit for work but, I wear flats. My my shirt, skirt, and Jessica’s skirt are from Rainbow.
Here’s what Jessica wore.
Here’s what I wore.
My handbag is from Amazon.com.

Long time, right? Yep! My life as a crisis counselor has created my own personal crisis…your girl has been pushed to the max in every aspect of my life. I will divulge at a later time, because I have things to discuss and share! I am back and it feels so good 🙂
I wanted to share a look from two weeks ago! I kept it simple with my clothes and let my accessories do the talking! I have to have bright, bold, and warm colors around me when I have to see so much darkness!
My necklace and handbag are from Amazon.com. Amazon is my go to store since I’m on the go and I would have to travel some distance to go shopping for clothes since I live in a rural area.
Here’s links to the handbag and the necklace. The handbag bag is about $10 more than what I paid, but it is definitely constructed well and looks like a really high end handbag. I get a lot of compliments on it.
I got my floral wedges from Shoe Carnival.
Be on the look out for more post! By the way, I played around with my photo background with my Befunky android app. Don’t forget to comment, like, and share!
I really like dressing up for the winter months. I like the texture and softness of the clothes made for cool weather. I found this lightweight flannel plaid cardigan ($17.99)at Cato. I wore it over a black jumpsuit. I like the waterfall design of this cardigan and the fringe. I belted the my cardigan with a belt ($2.99) from Cato and my clutch ($10.99) is from Cato as well. I am pleasantly surprised with the variety with Cato’s plus size options. What I have found is that Cato uses the same designs for the regular and plus sizes.
My hair is styled in a flat twist out which is one of my favorite natural hair styles.
I could not find my cardigan, belt, and clutch on the Cato website. I purchased my things in the store in the clearance sections.
Here are links for cardigans similar to mine here and here.
Here is a link for the clutch here.
Thank you for reading and I hope that have found some style inspiration!
