I haven’t done a smoothie post lately. I’ve pretty busy with a school project. So, I wanted share my smoothie for today. I used fruit and veggies.
Fruits: Kiwis, Blackberries, Strawberries, Cranberries, and Bananas.
Veggies: Kale and Collard Greens.
I added 1/2 tsp of flaxseeds
Smoothies are a go-to healthy option for meals, snacks, and desserts. I started using fresh cranberries in my smoothies two Christmases ago. We get cranberries around the holidays, so this time around, I stocked up on them. Cranberries can last a year frozen. So, I have been enjoying them since Thanksgiving. Cranberries, like other berries, have great health benefits (respiratory health, urinary tract health, antioxidants). Here are the ingredients of one of my smoothies (100% apple juice not pictured.)
