Celebrity Style Inspiration: Bohemian and Hippie Chic

Style & Beauty

Hello lovelies!

I have been away from the blog.   I have so much that I want to share, but I have been busy.   During the warmer months, I really like to channel a lot of Bohemian and Hippie inspired style into my fashion.   I found some inspiration from some of my favorite celebrity styles.  I just had to share  these beautiful women.

Tracee Ellis Ross looks so beautiful in her sheer, two-layered dress.  Her accessories are simple but have a lot of personality.   I love her milk maid braids.

Solange is such a style inspiration because she doesn’t conform to fashion trends. She’s in her own lane.  She embraces bold colors and big hair.

Chrisette Michele deems herself as the Rich Hipster.  I love how carefree and chic she is.   She has an eclectic style that reflects her artistry as a singer and business woman.  I love her!

Erykah Badu is a style inspiration. She does her own thing.   I like her head wraps, accessories,  and eccentric style.

Hello lovelies!

wpid-1431040780659.jpgI wanted to post this look on yesterday, and didn’t get a chance to finish the post.  I love the warm weather months because I can channel my bohemian style.  I like wearing flowing garments and earth tones.  I have always been into different prints.  I would have to say floral prints are starting be my favorite prints. I found this sheer floral print kimono cardigan (Burkes Outlet, $12.99) last weekend and I’ve worn it a few times already.  I chose a white t-shirt and dark turquoise skinny jeans to go with this look.  It’s very simple.  I wore simple white crystal studs and a gold flower ring (both of the jewelry pieces are from Old Navy for $1.99 each).  I also wore a chained statement necklace.

Bold Colors and Bold Accessories

Sunday was a really beautiful day and I was in the mood for some bold colors.  I celebrated my 29th birthday on Saturday and I celebrate for a week. So, I got the shirt as a gift from my sister.  I paired this shirt with a blue skirt which compliments the details in the shirt.  I also added a blue and gold statement necklace.

Hi everyone!  I wanted share this really cute, comfortable, and relaxed outfit I put together last Sunday.  I recently started using my scarves as a head wrap which is a popular trend going on.  I basically played with the scarf a bit and came up with this style.  Since, it’s summertime, this is a cool way to use scarves without having them hang on your neck.  I absolutely love, love, LOVE this outfit.  The colors are very bold and perfect for the summer. I purchased the pieces of the outfit at different times.  Let me break this lovely outfit down for you!

I purchased the scarf at 5.7.9 for $3.50

I purchased the sunglasses from Wet Seal at a buy one get one half off sale for $6

I purchased my top $3.99 and maxi skirt $15.99 at Papaya.

Just a side note: The skirt can be worn high waisted or low waisted

I hope you got some inspiration from the bohemian inspired outfit;-)   ~~B
