I mentioned that I have been gradually doing work on and in my home in an older post. Everything has been 100% DIY. So during this process, I have been getting a few things here and there to help complete my overall goal. I am almost done with my bedroom. The theme is a mix of fashion, Parisan elements, metallics, floral prints, and vintage inspiration. It may seem a bit much but everything is simple. I found some decorative shoe boxes and other items on sale to go with my theme in my bedroom and around the house. I use the boxes to store my jewelry and other accessories. I bought these items from Dollar General and everything ranged from $.75-$3.00.
Fashion cork boards for the refrigerator.
I store my clean socks in this laundry container for sorting.
What’s up everyone? I wanted to share this look I created. This is something I would wear to work. It’s a twist to business casual. I rarely wear heels to work (I rarely wear heels anymore…smh) because of comfort and my constant moving around. I invested in some cute flats that I can wear at work or just for day-to-day wear. I normally wear earrings and bracelets all the time and rings often. I think this look is fun and colorful. When I’m interacting with people, I tend to wear colors because I noticed that it brightens moods and channels good energy.
Hello again peeps! I really love me some houndstooth. My look from yesterday’s Style Inspiration had some houndstooth. Today’s Style Inspiration involves a houndstooth peplum top, yellow skinny jeans, blue heels and accessories. This look is simple for a date or a night out. I chose printed earrings because of the colors and I used them to coordinate the colors of the pants, shoes, and purse. It’s all about playing with colors and prints. Have fun with your clothes!
I am super excited to share this dress I got from Fashion to Figure online during the holidays. I first got into Fashion to Figure back in the summer of 2013 when I was living in the Washington DC area. During that time, the store was launching in different locations along the east coast. This was the first plus size store I’ve seen that had trendy, affordable clothes for women. Their sizes ranges from 12-26.
You know that I love a great deal. Since I’m back in Tennessee, I have to shop online at this store. So, I got this dress during a buy one get one free deal online for all sale items. So, technically I got this dress free. I got a jumpsuit along with this dress for $32. They are currently running a special on all sale items for 50% off.
I’m the kinda girl who loves and has lots of t-shirts. I love dressing for the fall and winter. An easy way to transition to cooler weather is to add a blazer or jacket to a t-shirt. I created two different looks using the same t-shirt.
The floral tee is the foundation to this look. I picked pants and earrings that had colors similar to the tee. I used a textured gray blazer and boots to add more edge to the look. This look is simple.
This look has different accessories and colors. It’s softer and a little dressier with the handbag and booties.
