I finally have some down time to blog from. I miss reading my fellow bloggers’ blogs and I miss blogging. I wanted to share my look from Sunday. I wanted to wear something fabulously, chic to celebrate my last Sunday in my 20s because next Sunday I will be 30. I truly wish that I could add some dramatic sound effects at this point. I’m excited about the big 3-0! I got this black and white sweater set from Rainbow last month. I am fan of tribal prints. And, I like how black and white compliment each other…so classic.
I added a blue beaded necklace (Walmart) , my black and white square earrings (plus size consignment boutique), and my black and white flats (rue21). I also barrowed my sister’s blue handbag. My hair was styled in bantu twistout….I fluffed my hair out. By the way, I’m not frowning…the sun was in my eyes:-)

This summer look is great for warm weather. It’s a simple look. A t-shirt dress with fun floral stiletto sandals, a handbag and fun stud earrings. I think t-shirt dress are easy to dress up or dress down. If stilettos aren’t your thing put on some cool sneakers or flats. I really like the softness of the shades of pink and blue. What are some ways you would rock a t-shirt dress?
I have a new style inspiration for ya! I created this simple yet chic look for those who are interested in mixing different prints. An easy way to incorporate prints into an outfit is by using different printed accessories. This is great if you aren’t comfortable mixing printed clothes or are still trying find something that works for you. I chose bold multicolored earrings and a stripped clutch that both compliment the solid jacket, t-shirt dress, and shoes. This look would be great with different hairstyles.
Please share your ideas or thoughts about mixing prints.
It has been a while since I have done a Style Inspiration. I created this sophisticated look using a blue faux wrap shirt that accentuates the waist. I paired it with a pencil skirt with bold lines details. I chose accessories with that were blue and gold.
On Saturday, I chose this look to run errands and go out. Instead of wearing a flirty dress for this warm Tennessee weather. I chose a look that merged masculine and feminine elements. I wore a buttoned down men’s shirt I got from an estate sale for $1 and some old jeans that I have.
I like men’s button down shirts because of the structure and they can be easily converted to women’s wear. You tie the bottom of the shirt into a knot. Wearing high-waisted jeans or a skirt can make the shirt feminine.
I rolled my jeans up and my sleeves some to soften my outfit. I wore brown heeled lace up sandals and ($19.99, Just Fab) and a studded brown handbag ($7, Goodwill). I wore red lipstick and of course big curly hair (a DIY wig I recently made). I made sure I wore a smile! I felt really fabulous and sexy without having “dress up”.
