It’s been a while since I’ve posted any personal styles from my closet. It’s been even longer since I did a style post with my sister. On Sunday, Jessica and I wore some thrifted garments mixed with non-thrifted garments.
Here are Jessica’s thrifted pieces:
A thrifted skirt from an estate sale $1.00
earrings were bought from a consignment shop $2
Jessica’s skirt was the statement garment and she accessorized to complement her skirt. I added the the belt to finish the look.
I adore color and yellow is one of my favorite colors. I chose to pair my dress with button down shirt for a bold summer look. I kept my accessories simple with gold and pearls. I chose my leopard prints wedges to add some flair since my dress and shirt are solid colors.
My thrifted piece:
Dress from Goodwill $6

I wanted to show how you can have different outfits just by making one change. I simply changed my outerwear. The first look has a cardigan and the second has a blazer. This is an easy way to switch up your wardrobe…especially if you’re on a budget. This is also great if you’re on the go. You may need to wear a blazer for work or business, and if you go out later to run errands or somewhere casual, just swap out your outerwear. Talk to you soon!
Hi everyone! I wanted to share some earrings that I found at the Up and Down Closet Consignment Boutique that I posted garments from previous posts. I have been wearing and investing in stud style earrings. They’re simple and stylish.
I wanted to share an outfit that I created from some thrifting I have done. In my Flourishing Floral post, I talked about looking for garments for an internship I had recently. I found a consignment boutique called The Up and Down Closet in Hendersonville, TN. The owner and staff were really nice and helpful.
I found the shirt that I’m wearing is from The Up and Down Closet. It has very vintage feel to it. I found the coral skirt from the Goodwill for $.99. Be on the lookout for more things I have found thrifting.
I have a fallen in love with floral prints. When done right, floral prints are feminine and elegant. I went to this plus size consignment shop a few weeks ago for an internship I had for a celeb stylist and found some really great garments for myself and for my internship (I will be sharing all of the pieces with you over the next several days).
I found this really cute floral dress on clearance for $3. Yes $3! It was a little loose in the waist but I fixed that by adding an embellished belt from Charming Charlie for $4.99 for church. I also styled the dress with a black accessories to show options. The outfit is simple yet fabulously chic. What do ya think?
