What’s going on, people?
I hope your week is going well. So, I am back with another post. Here’s my outfit from Sunday. I really enjoy playing around with my church fashion. Sometimes I like to get dressed up and sometimes I like to go casual chic. No matter how I dress for church, the most important thing that matters to me is that God loves me no matter how I dress.
I’m a fan of graphics tees and I thought that this shirt would be a fun garment to add to my collection. My color scheme was red, black, and white. The tee is from CitiTrends and it was $6.99. My blazer and skirt are from Rainbows. My handbag and necklace are from Wal-Mart. My shoes are from JustFab.com.
By the way, I styled my hair in a crochet protective style to give my hair some time to rest. I am interested in knowing how you have fun with your faith inspired fashions whether you’re Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or any other faith/spiritual identification. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. If so, leave your comments.
Talk to in the next post♡♡♡
Happy Monday beautiful people!
I have been rocking a new protective hairstyle over the past month. I really like my faux locks. So, on Saturday wanted to be comfy and chic while I was out and about. I made a head wrap out of a kimono scarf. I enjoy head wraps during warm weather months.
My entire outfit, from head to toe, is from Rainbow. I love my orange t-shirt dress. It’s flowy and flattering for my curves. I flaunting my legs…I say yay to thick thighs…lol! My sandals are structured for comfort and support which is great for those who suffer with flat feet issues like me. My handbag is from JustFab.
I look forward to sharing more head wraps this spring and summer!
Happy Monday, blogosphere!
Welp! Here’s my first fashion post of the year! Yesterday, finally felt like winter…25 degrees and a sprinkle of snow on the ground. In the south, a sprinkle of snow and freezing temps are a big deal. I finally pulled out my winter coat. I chose to mix a few prints and textures for winter, church ensemble. I got my dress for $7.
The fun thing about textured clothes is that some of them have their own unique design which is why I really like my coat. Literally everything about my ensemble is either textured or printed from my hair down to my booties.
Outfit details: Dress (Rainbow), coat (JC Penney), tights (Wal-Mart), booties (Shoe Carnival), necklace (Cato), clutch (Burkes Outlet), cuff bracelet (random beauty supply store), and my ring/earrings (my sister’s room ).
Thanks for reading! Talk to you soon!
Good morning, y’all!
I channeled a little country girl chic on yesterday. I finally got some cowboy boots and I couldn’t wait to wear them. For those of you who don’t know, I was born and raised in the country. I still live in the country…aka folks around here call it the Sticks and I call it the wilderness. I’m a country girl with a city girl swag.
I plan on wearing these boots a lot since I travel a lot in rural areas for work. I kept my look simple and chic. I wore a dress from the Lovely.Multifaceted.Chic boutique and a buttoned down striped shirt from Rainbow. I put my hair in two flat twist. I worn some metallic earrings and a wooden beaded bracelet. By the way, my sister and I’s puppy Zeus has officially made his blog debut.
Talk to ya soon!
Oh how I miss thee! My new job has been taking a lot of my time yet, I am working hard to balance blogging and crisis counseling. I truly enjoy both and I thank all of you who have supported my blog so far. So, it’s Thursday and I wanted to share a throwback look from earlier this year. Fall is fastly approaching and I am feeling the changes of the season. I got this dress January 2014 from Forever 21 Plus for $14.99. You can’t tell but, the shoulders are exposed. I like wearing this dress during cooler months. I can wear tights or leggings with boots. I can spice it up with some cute heels and fishnet stockings.
