Good morning, y’all!
I channeled a little country girl chic on yesterday. I finally got some cowboy boots and I couldn’t wait to wear them. For those of you who don’t know, I was born and raised in the country. I still live in the country…aka folks around here call it the Sticks and I call it the wilderness. I’m a country girl with a city girl swag.
I plan on wearing these boots a lot since I travel a lot in rural areas for work. I kept my look simple and chic. I wore a dress from the Lovely.Multifaceted.Chic boutique and a buttoned down striped shirt from Rainbow. I put my hair in two flat twist. I worn some metallic earrings and a wooden beaded bracelet. By the way, my sister and I’s puppy Zeus has officially made his blog debut.
Talk to ya soon!
Happy Wednesday, lovelies!
If you have been following my blog for a while, you know I love floral prints. I found this two-piece outfit from Monif C. The name of this outfit is called Tara. I really like how classy and sophisticated this look is. I wore this outfit a few Sundays ago to church. I kept this look simple with my accessories. I wore a statement necklace (Walmart), a gold flower ring, and my gold glittery pumps. FYI…I love how the flattering and tasteful the crop top is. Yay for plus size women wearing crop tops! I wore a camisole under my crop top when I went to church.

I finally have some down time to blog from. I miss reading my fellow bloggers’ blogs and I miss blogging. I wanted to share my look from Sunday. I wanted to wear something fabulously, chic to celebrate my last Sunday in my 20s because next Sunday I will be 30. I truly wish that I could add some dramatic sound effects at this point. I’m excited about the big 3-0! I got this black and white sweater set from Rainbow last month. I am fan of tribal prints. And, I like how black and white compliment each other…so classic.
I added a blue beaded necklace (Walmart) , my black and white square earrings (plus size consignment boutique), and my black and white flats (rue21). I also barrowed my sister’s blue handbag. My hair was styled in bantu twistout….I fluffed my hair out. By the way, I’m not frowning…the sun was in my eyes:-)

On Sunday, I wore pink in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness. It’s something that my church does every year. I try my best to wear as much pink as often I can in October because so many women are affected by breast cancer. In my last post, I wore a pink blazer. For those women who are fighting every day to beat breast cancer, keep up the good fight.
I’ve had this floral dress for about a year. And for those of you who follow my blog, you know I have this slight obsession with floral prints now. I really like this dress and I wear it often. I love how the dress flows and how it fits. It was a bit chilly Sunday, so I wore some black tights from Dress Barn (on sale for $1). My dress was from a small business store ($11.99).

Hey beautiful people!
Sundays are usually the days I take advantage of being super fly. I pull out my heels or stilettos that I don’t wear throughout the week. Yesterday, I felt like adding a little sophistication and professionalism to my style.
What I Wore
A black, sleeveless jumpsuit that has a tie belt $25.
A pastel pink blazer that I got from the Goodwill for $.99.
Leopard print booties from Rainbow $20.
Statement neckless from Wal-Mart $5.
My earrings are from Old Navy $1.99.
By the way, my sunglasses and jumpsuit are items from my online boutique! I am adding some finishing touches to the boutique but those of you following my blog will be the first to know when it launches. I really liked how the look came together. Your girl was on her grown women ish yesterday!
Talk to you soon, lovelies!
