Since I didn’t post much last year, I had share one of my favorite looks from last year. When I was a little girl, Easter was a big deal. I would get a dress and go to the beauty shop to get my hair done the Saturday before Easter with the anticipation of dressing up for church on Easter Sunday. Now, that I’m an adult, going all out for Easter is not a big deal.
Last year, I really wanted to put a little more effort in my Easter ensemble. I wanted simple and “springy”. I also wanted to wear some shade of white and I found this simple yet cute ivory dress from Amazon.
I wore an ivory belt with crystals on it that I got years ago from Charming Charlies and glitter sandals from Rainbow. I loved the simplicity and how serene I felt wearing this outfit.
I’m excited about sharing more fashion post with you!
On Sunday, my sister and I wore red dresses. My sister’s dress is a high-low from Rainbow. I got my dress from Amazon.com. I wanted to share our looks.
I am back with another post for you. So, this Sunday I rocked a $5.99 dress I got from the Goodwill. I LOVE this dress! The print and the silhouette are EVERYTHING! The colors remind me of Fall and Halloween. You know I love color.
I initially replaced the original tie belt for a belt I have in the closet. I am glad I decided to wear the tie belt because sometimes less is more. I wore one of my favorite pair of booties that are a great transition into Fall which I got from Rue 21 ($6).
As you can see, I kept my accessories simple. My beaded turquoise necklace is from Wal-Mart ($3). I also wore the bracelet I wore in my last post.
I rocked my Ruby Kisses matte lipstick, and I rocked my crochet wig that I made last year. I am looking forward to rocking this dress this Fall for business, work, and church! FYI, my whole look is $15…Yesss for slaying on a budget!

Summer is definitely here and I love wearing things that reflect the season. I got this dress last summer for vacation from Amazon.com. This dress makes me feel like an island girl even though I’m thousands of miles away.
I styled this look with pink wooden diamond-shaped earrings and gold shimmer sandals. I wore a black midi dress under my chiffon dress because it is sheer. I styled my hair in a puff ponytail and I wore pink lipstick. I like to keep it simple.

I have been adjusting to a new job which has been taking a quite a bit of time. I have not forgotten you all and I have missed blogging. I wanted to share my look from Sunday. I got my dress from Ross for $17.99. I love the print and flow of the fabric. I really like the colors…it Do you have a garment that makes you feel good and you feel good wearing it? Well, this dress is that. I wore some wedge peep-toe shoes and spiral wooden bracelet. I kept my makeup simple. I have not been wearing foundation all year. I wear my lipstick, eyeliner, and mascara.
