It’s Wednesday and I had to share some mid-week chic! I wore this outfit Sunday and I was in the mood for some mixed prints. I’m a fan of stripes and I love floral prints!
Here are some details about my outfit. My top is from Target ($6) and my skirt is from Old Navy ($8). I got both of these a few weeks ago. My shoes and necklace are old items. My watch and ring are from Cato.
I love my crochet hairstyle. The beauty of this crochet hairstyle is that I love this color without dying mine.
Be on the look out for more post and updates on my life!

So for those of you who follow my blog, you know that I switch up my hairstyles quite often. So, I have been wearing a crochet protective style to protect my hair and it’s super convenient. I love the big hair but it’s too hot in Tennessee and I’m itching to try something new. So, I cut my protective style into a bob. This has allowed me to have a new hairstyle without having to cut my real hair and continue to protect it for a while longer.
What do you think?
Talk to you soon, loves! Happy weekend 🙂
I wanted to share a go-to hairstyle that I use quite frequently on my hair. It’s the curly twistout. I simply twist my hair into two strand twist then roll my hair with these wave rod rollers (pictured below).
I keep the rods in over night. I really like the body and curls that my hair have if my hair is completely dry.
I have a few pics of my hair at different times.

Talk to you soon,
Hey beautiful people!
If you have been following my blog, you know that I change up my hairstyles often. I have been protecting my natural hair. I recently made my own wig. I have never been a fan of wigs because they look unnatural, and most of all, they are uncomfortable on my big head. I purchased one a few years ago, and it was so tight that I couldn’t think clearly. I accepted the fact that braids and crochet hairstyles would be my go-to styles to protect my hair. I don’t do sew-ins or weaves.
On a brighter side, my wig is super comfortable, cute, and natural. I have been wearing it for over a week now. I can take it off to workout and rest. I am currently working on another for myself and someone else.
Have any of you natural ladies tried wigs or any other protectivestyle?
