I hope all is well. I’ve been focusing on being happy and making purposeful changes in my life regarding my career and life. I quit being a crisis counselor, and I made the conscious choice give energy into my dreams. I will be sharing more with you later. I refuse to be busy at the cost of my health and sanity. I love being on the go when there are purpose and joy being fulfilled in my life. When you’re living in your purpose and truth, it is so much easier to navigate through life.
I am sharing a look for an interview I had last week.
A lot of companies and businesses are going business casual in attire. So, it’s an excellent idea to do some research. The outfit I wore is something I’d wear to work during cooler months.
I am back with another post for you. So, this Sunday I rocked a $5.99 dress I got from the Goodwill. I LOVE this dress! The print and the silhouette are EVERYTHING! The colors remind me of Fall and Halloween. You know I love color.
I initially replaced the original tie belt for a belt I have in the closet. I am glad I decided to wear the tie belt because sometimes less is more. I wore one of my favorite pair of booties that are a great transition into Fall which I got from Rue 21 ($6).
As you can see, I kept my accessories simple. My beaded turquoise necklace is from Wal-Mart ($3). I also wore the bracelet I wore in my last post.
I rocked my Ruby Kisses matte lipstick, and I rocked my crochet wig that I made last year. I am looking forward to rocking this dress this Fall for business, work, and church! FYI, my whole look is $15…Yesss for slaying on a budget!
I had to share my outfit I wore to a wedding this past Saturday! Initially, I was going to dress more formal but, I decided to do something different. I wore a maxi dress. I got it from Rainbow. I wore gold sandals and gold bracelets to match the gold chain on the neck of the dress.
I borrowed my sister’s Jessica Simpson handbag. I got a lot of compliments on my outfit. I love that I looked great without being uncomfortable.
I hope your week is going well. So, I am back with another post. Here’s my outfit from Sunday. I really enjoy playing around with my church fashion. Sometimes I like to get dressed up and sometimes I like to go casual chic. No matter how I dress for church, the most important thing that matters to me is that God loves me no matter how I dress.
I’m a fan of graphics tees and I thought that this shirt would be a fun garment to add to my collection. My color scheme was red, black, and white. The tee is from CitiTrends and it was $6.99. My blazer and skirt are from Rainbows. My handbag and necklace are from Wal-Mart. My shoes are from JustFab.com.
By the way, I styled my hair in a crochet protective style to give my hair some time to rest. I am interested in knowing how you have fun with your faith inspired fashions whether you’re Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or any other faith/spiritual identification. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. If so, leave your comments.
Talk to in the next post♡♡♡
I hope everyone has had a great week. I’ve been busy with working on two research papers and I had to step away and get on the blog. I have been enjoying the color blue lately. I wore this outfit on Sunday for church.
I love this leopard print skirt and I wear it often. I wanted to go for casual, comfort, and style. If you want to dress a solid t-shirt, wear a bold print skirt. I added a belt to my outfit to bring a little more style without over doing it. I also wore leopard print earrings from the blog boutique. My shirt, skirt, and shoes are from Rainbow. My belt is from Cato. I wore my hair in a high puff ponytail.
