I finally have some down time to blog from. I miss reading my fellow bloggers’ blogs and I miss blogging. I wanted to share my look from Sunday. I wanted to wear something fabulously, chic to celebrate my last Sunday in my 20s because next Sunday I will be 30. I truly wish that I could add some dramatic sound effects at this point. I’m excited about the big 3-0! I got this black and white sweater set from Rainbow last month. I am fan of tribal prints. And, I like how black and white compliment each other…so classic.
I added a blue beaded necklace (Walmart) , my black and white square earrings (plus size consignment boutique), and my black and white flats (rue21). I also barrowed my sister’s blue handbag. My hair was styled in bantu twistout….I fluffed my hair out. By the way, I’m not frowning…the sun was in my eyes:-)

Suicide, depression, psychosis, self – mutilation, trauma, abuse, homicidal thoughts are just a few situations that I encounter on a daily basis with children and adolescents. I spend countless hours in emergency rooms, schools, homes, and hospitals responding to crisis. If I am not assessing, I am on the road or doing a lot of paperwork. Over the past few months, I have been adjusting to my new role as a crisis counselor. This is why I haven’t been blogging on a regular basis like I normally do. I want to send a special shout out to a blog sister of mine who actually reached out to me recently because of my hiatus. Thanks Hil for checking on a sister…please go support and follow her https://hilthethrill.wordpress.com.
I wanted to share my look from yesterday. The goal for my crisis style is to be professional and chic. I make sure that I am comfortable so, no heels allowed. So, I rely on cute sandals and flats. My outfit is from Rainbow plus. I recently got my pants for $7. My beaded necklace is from Walmart $3.
I got this tote last spring from TJ Maxx $24.99. I needed something that was professional and efficient for what I have to do. It holds a lot. I found this cute little key chain at a fundraiser. It adds a little flair to tote.
I have been wearing my hair in Havana twist. They are super convenient for my busy schedule. I wore some pink lipstick to add a little life to my face when I don’t have time or energy to add any other makeup.
Hello beautiful people!
I am highlighting Rainbow’s plus size fashion. I have been pleasantly surprised with the quality and styles available at Rainbow. I have shopped at Rainbow since I was in high school and I like that the clothes are very reasonably priced. I found this stripped button shirt and skirt over the weekend. I like how the stripes and and tribal inspired printed skirt complement each other. I chose to add a belt and t-strap peep toe wedges. This look is super chic and polished.
Here’s Jessica look from Sunday. I think this whole weekend she was channeling black and white.
Her black and white body con dress is from Rainbow for $19.99. Her shoes are from Just Fab. They are a bridesmaid’s gift. Her black and white earrings are from boutique that posted about a while back. The look is simple and sophisticated.
