Since I didn’t post much last year, I had share one of my favorite looks from last year. When I was a little girl, Easter was a big deal. I would get a dress and go to the beauty shop to get my hair done the Saturday before Easter with the anticipation of dressing up for church on Easter Sunday. Now, that I’m an adult, going all out for Easter is not a big deal.
Last year, I really wanted to put a little more effort in my Easter ensemble. I wanted simple and “springy”. I also wanted to wear some shade of white and I found this simple yet cute ivory dress from Amazon.
I wore an ivory belt with crystals on it that I got years ago from Charming Charlies and glitter sandals from Rainbow. I loved the simplicity and how serene I felt wearing this outfit.
I’m excited about sharing more fashion post with you!
This blue jumpsuit is $20 and there are sizes small, medium, and large. Jessica is wearing a large.
Here is the black plus size jumpsuit. There are sizes 1x to 3x available. I’m wearing a 2x in this picture. It’s true to size.
I love this jumpsuit because it is very versatile.

I did some electronic digging and realized that I did not share this look. I love sunflowers and I’m pretty fond of sequins. This is a budget friendly outfit. I got this peplum sunflower dress from from Rainbow from the clearance rack for $3. I have shopped at Rainbow for years because they have have pretty good clearance selection for regular and plus sizes.
I got this sequin case from a thrift store a few years ago. It was about $4. I use this often as a clutch and I use it for business purposes to hold documents and my tablet.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted any personal styles from my closet. It’s been even longer since I did a style post with my sister. On Sunday, Jessica and I wore some thrifted garments mixed with non-thrifted garments.
Here are Jessica’s thrifted pieces:
A thrifted skirt from an estate sale $1.00
earrings were bought from a consignment shop $2
Jessica’s skirt was the statement garment and she accessorized to complement her skirt. I added the the belt to finish the look.
I adore color and yellow is one of my favorite colors. I chose to pair my dress with button down shirt for a bold summer look. I kept my accessories simple with gold and pearls. I chose my leopard prints wedges to add some flair since my dress and shirt are solid colors.
My thrifted piece:
Dress from Goodwill $6

I wanted to share a little fashion. You know I love a wearing colors…it’s been kinda gray outside for the last couple days so I needed to brighten things up. I got the cardigan from Goodwill for $6. My tank ($1), cropped skinny jeans ($7), and necklace ($3) are from lé Walmart. And shoes are from Rue 21 ($6).
My outfit is super comfy, chic for my day-to-day wear. What do ya think?
